The People’s Players

Welcoming those over 18 years of age, who want to learn the craft of acting and theatre.

What skills are we looking for? Nothing, just your enthusiasm. It is okay if you have no previous experience. Just come along and try it out.

There are no fees or subscription, no pressure to perform or previous experience necessary.

Classes

We meet every Monday evening, 7-8:30pm (except on Bank Holidays) in the studio at the Royal Court.

Sessions are free to attend and we cover basic acting skills including; character development, improvisation and physical theatre.

Past performances:

Improvise your way out of that!– A comedy competition showcasing improvisation skills. The Studio, Liverpool’s Royal Court.

Can’t Stop Us Now– Residents of a care home provide their own festive entertainment. The Studio, Liverpool’s Royal Court.

The Scouse Nativity– A comedy festive retelling of the nativity. Main stage ensemble. Liverpool’s Royal Court.

The Golden Oldies Members of a choir turn into a rock band. Main stage ensemble. Liverpool’s Royal Court.
