Our Spaces

At Liverpool’s Royal Court we have a range of spaces suited to performance and rehearsal.  We host stand-up comedy and stage plays, we welcome musicians and facilitate performing arts and events.

Our art deco theatre built in 1938 features state of the arts technical facilities and our rehearsal rooms in Everton provide a perfect space to develop your activity.  Our team of amiable theatre professionals can provide backstage and technical support.

The Main Stage and Auditorium

Liverpool’s Royal Court is available to hire for performances and events. The capacity of the main auditorium is just over 1,100.  The Stalls area has a non-fixed cabaret style, the Circle and Balcony have rowed theatre seating. The Stalls have step free access and the Circle and Balcony can be reached via a lift or our art deco stairs.

The building has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment to improve accessibility at every level.

There is a wide range of catering options to suit all types of event.

The Studio

We have a 150 seat intimate basement venue, The Studio. The Studio is idea for stand up comedy, independent theatre productions and presentations. There are stairs and a lift to the basement level with a bar area and toilet facilities.

The Rehearsal Rooms

We have rehearsal space available at our Mansfield Street workshop in Everton. This space is £25 for an hour, £80 for four hours or £150 for an eight hour day (10:00-18:00).
