In a small fishing community on the northeast coast of Canada, the Wheelans have run the fish plant for as long as anyone can remember. Vernon’s name is on the paperwork, but Eileen has done the hard work on land while he has been at sea. Now he’s home, retired and making himself useful.
As the first born son, Travis is the captain now and he’s out on the water, but the wind is up and he’s in trouble. Katie is his older sister and she knows that it should be her out there.
Caterina Incisa has created a story that reaches out beyond the sea and into every home. A story of family, love and loss.
These waters run deep.
