After last years hugely successful LGBTQ+ festival of short
monologues, Grin Theatre is delighted to return with 12 brand new works from
local and Northwest LGBTQ+ writers.
All the monologues portray different aspects of what it
means to be queer and their individual voices combine to make this an evening
of positivity, empowerment and unity.
Directed by Dan Scott with a cast of six extraordinary
actors, each monologue is so very different in tone and emotion, but they all
share that sense of place and personal strength
Come and support local LGBTQ theatre and hear our voices and
our many stories.
Programme content – it is advised that the show is not
suitable for children and ideally aimed at an 18 plus audience
The show contains very strong language and some subjects
that may distress some people.
What audience members said about our first show in 2021 at
the Little Liverpool Theatre Festival:
“a delightful and very powerful show”
“so varied and really enjoyable”
“good to hear queer voices telling their stories –
loved it!”
Grin Theatre is Liverpool’s very own LGBTQ+ theatre company.
We promote new writing and new performance as well as developing creative
courses throughout the city and the Northwest. The theatre recently had a
massive success with the new play Orton: Fallen Angel (8.5 Writebase and *** North-west
End UK).
