The Only Way Is Up Baby

So remember when we talked about what’s being happening over the summer in our last post? Well, that’s old news now.

So what’s happening next you ask? We take down the metal barriers, unlock the doors and roll out the red carpet because show season starts! Lindzi Germain, Angela Simms and Lynn Francis grace our stage with? The Royal,?which opens on the 25th?August.

We have got some fab shows for you all to see this year, family favourites, football favourites and shows for all!

YNWA: The Story of Liverpool Football Club?will have footie fans and non-believers alike singing their heart out to some of LFC’s classics whilst learning about where the club has come from. No blues allowed! Show off your club colours by booking a ticket; LFC will take centre stage between 28th?September until 28th?October.

Remember that guy who came second to Will Young on Pop Idol, Gareth Gates? He’s coming to the Royal Court alongside one of those Nolan sisters who will have you in the mood for dancing. The show will give you a chance to kick off your Sunday shoes, but please don’t kick them off in our theatre.?Footloose!?will be on our stage from 30th?October until 4th?November. It’s not here for long, so book your tickets fast!

Family favourite?Oliver!?will be returning to Liverpool’s Royal Court for a second year. Book your tickets and add the dining option to your ticket for some food, glorious food right at your seat!?Oliver!?will have you rattling your plates and beer bottles between the 9th?and 12th?November.

Speaking of which..

The Courtyard Bar & Kitchen

Next month we will also be opening a brand spanking new restaurant for you to feast your eyes on (see what we did there?). Remember where the old Penny Farthing pub was on the corner next to the theatre? Well we have taken it over, given it a good scrub and thrown in some new furniture and will be re-opening it next month as the?Courtyard Bar & Kitchen.

We will be working closely with them (they are only next door after all) to provide you with the best experience at the Royal Court Theatre. For an extra fiver, Circle ticket-holders will be able to put a deposit down on a table at the?Courtyard Bar & Kitchen?to eat, drink and be merry before or after a show.

The menu looks tasty; it’s small plates galore for all your grazing needs with an extensive drinks menu for you to wash it all down.

Watch this space, we will be giving you more information in a few weeks.
