The Miracle of Great Homer Street – A Story of Saints and Winners

We took a bit of a gamble bringing Gerry Linford’s highly commended (Hope Playwriting Prize) script on our stage. It was a gamble that paid off as Father Aherne’s fondness of the odd flutter has been delighting audiences for the past month.  With just under two weeks left to go, we’ve rounded up all the reviews.

The Lowdown Magazine FIVE STARS

“The script is brilliantly written; an instant sign that Gerry Linford is one of the next great playwrights. Both heart-warming and humorous, it’s a story that stays with you long after you’ve left the theatre.”

The Stage

“The energy built on laughter fuels extraordinary heat in the morality tale that emerges in the closing scenes – this is comedy with a sting in its tail.

A cleverly constructed and mysterious comedy of football, avarice and redemption”
