Our youth theatre returns for another term of acting, music, movement and more! We are joined by our amazing young people for another year of fun as we also introduce new programmes. One new programme we are preparing to launch is the new Young Actors Development Programme, which will be a 12 week course and a performance at the end of the course. During the first 6 weeks, attendees will be taught skills on acting, singing, dance and movement, followed by another 6 weeks working on putting together a showcase. This will be open to young people ages 17 to 25 and the can get involved by emailing

Two Of Us:

This month the rehearsals for Two Of Us have started. We have welcomed back to the theatre, Tom Connor and Mark Newnham who will be leading the way after their smash hit run of Lennon. They are being joined by Adam Keast, Greg Joy, Mike Woodvine and Ben Gladwin, who will be their supporting band. They will all be taking to the stage next month and we cannot wait to see them bring this amazing show to life.

The Scouse Jack and The Beanstalk:

The end of January also marked the end of our Christmas panto run which has been a massive success and loved by many. We are proud to say it is officially our bestselling show of all time with over 55,000 people coming to see the show.

It has been a fantastic run and our audience have enjoyed it very much, we?re excited for the next one already!

The Stage Awards:

As some of you may be aware we were nominated for Theatre of The Year at The Stage Awards. This is a great honour for us and this month we made our way to London to attend the awards. Unfortunately we were bridesmaids this time as the winners were announced as The Lyric Theatre and The Bush Theatre. A massive congratulations to them!
