Playwright Development Programme
Budding playwrights rejoice, we have an opportunity for you to develop your skills and create new works for production.
Following on from the success of our Stage Write Nights, the Playwright Development course is a bid to find new writers who will follow in the footsteps of the likes of Gerry Linford (Yellow Breck Road), Laura Lees (Masquerade) and Kevin Fearon (My Fairfield Lady).
Led by Producer Jess Bolger, this new writing programme is a great opportunity for keen writers who want to develop their skills:
“The Stage Write Nights have been a really good way for us to see new writing talent and this Development Programme will give writers the opportunity to take their work to another level. This is a chance for anybody out there who has written a script but is still keen to enhance their skills and make their work more appealing to producers and audiences. We are looking for a wide range of styles as we are not looking for something that will necessarily be produced here, we are more interested in developing individuals.?
